Accelerate, Measure, Correlate: Making Advanced Materials Work - Kick-Off

BAM Akademie: Learning Lunch Webinar Series - Advancing Materials Through Standardization

Veranstaltungsort

Online event

See below for registration

Our webinar series brings together strategic perspectives ("why it matters") and practical expertise ("how it works") to explore how advanced materials can more effectively move from discovery to industrial impact. As materials innovation becomes increasingly central to Europe’s competitiveness, the ability to generate, interpret, and align reliable measurement data is critical—linking research, standardization, and real-world application.

The program is structured in two complementary parts. A high-level Kick-Off Event sets the scene by addressing the role of measurement, standardization, and policy frameworks in accelerating innovation and market uptake. Building on this foundation, a series of focused Learning Lunch sessions takes a deeper dive into key characterization approaches, highlighting how different methods contribute to understanding, comparing, and optimizing advanced materials. Together, these sessions provide a coherent journey- from system-level perspectives to method-level insights - enabling participants to navigate the complex landscape of materials characterization with greater confidence and clarity.

The Kick-Off Event is co-hosted by the European Innovative Advanced Materials Initiative (IAM-I).
