Synthesis and Scattering of Nanostructured Materials
Division 6.5
The production of nano-object reference materials and the characterization of nano-objects are the core tasks of the Synthesis and Scattering of Nanostructured Materials department.
We offer syntheses of nanoparticles that can be carried out on a scale of up to eight liters. The methodological focus is on small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) and static and dynamic light scattering (SLS and DLS). These scattering methods are complemented by thermal analysis (DSC, TGA), infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), optical microscopy, dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) and tensile tests.
Test orders are processed in accordance with DIN and ISO standards. We are your point of contact concerning structural elucidation and quantitative physical-chemical description of (polymer) nano-objects. We are open to collaborations in nano projects within various consortia at national and international level.
