The modern, always available and technically safe infrastructure of industrial plants, buildings, supply systems and transportation routes is central to Germany as a business location. Technological progress and changing mobility present us with challenges, as do ageing infrastructure systems. In the area of infrastructure, we look at the technical reliability and long-term safety of such systems.
