Applying a KorroPad to a stainless steel ring
The degradation and damage mechanisms of new materials and multi-material mixes as well as components made from them have not yet been sufficiently researched. Our focus is on the investigation of mechanical, thermal and corrosive stresses of new or already known materials from the field of metals, ceramics and polymers and their composites.

Safety-related requirements must be implemented from the conceptualization and design stage through production and assembly as well as the operating phase, including monitoring and repair, to dismantling and recycling. We help with the development and application of procedures for safety-related assessment and interdisciplinary failure analysis of technical systems and their components.
